2 of them didn't play, one of them got about 2 minutes. One a sub who got half an hour and the other 2 played 90 minutes between them.

I don't disagree that they are all crap but maybe we should start pointing fingers at the players who are actually playing the games where we fail to turn up?

The team were knackered tonight - had just played 3 games in 7 days against 3 quick playing sides and had to play another tonight.

Utd could freshen it up tonight but we couldn't thats the problem.

They were probably sorry he didn't stay on. Richie has been terrible all season and honestly when everyone is fit(some hopes) he struggles to start. Nothing he ever tries comes off. He's still very good at falling over though!

In perspective United have spent about 100m a season for 10 years, their “back-up” keeper would be our highest earner, their substitute left back cost about £30m. Over 200m in midfield.

That being said, we definitely could have got at these tonight - an opportunity missed

I don’t care if we’re competitive and lose. But to show up and from the first minute make it blatantly obvious that you’re going to capitulate in a QUARTER FINAL and proceed to show absolutely nothing and I mean nothing footballing wise is unforgivable. Cavani, Fernandes, and any other United player could’ve been sent off today and we’d still never have scored in a million years. They’ve spat in the face of the fans here.

This is it really.

You can always lose a game but for once wouldn't it be nice if we turned up for a big game?

Was anybody surprised with how we played tonight? I know I wasn't as we do it every single time.

Very very disappointing but the fact that we can be disappointed with losing a cup QF to Man Utd while siting fourth in the league is a vast improvement on where we have been for some years.
Disappointed can see a way forward.

We should be extremely disappointed because aside from a good 20 minutes, Man Utd done nothing special and gave the ball away just as much as we did

United just had better players all round. And what a bench. Threatened to over run us in the first 30 minutes. Stayed in the game. Better second half both teams cancelled each other out. Class from cavarni win it for them siggy doucoure Mina and Godfrey played well Richy needs a goal from.somewhere. Iwobi needs to learn how to.pass and cross the ball. We have a decent first 11. Carlo needs time to build up the squad. We are in fourth position. Think we may get a Europa League place.
