If we had a gone at them like Leeds we would have got a good hiding. We have had results with this approach. Allan is a big miss but we could have nicked a result. We are missing key players and to be fair we defended like it mattered. We didnt play as well as i would have liked but I think a bit of realism is required. We had some good chances to test the keeper 2nd half and they weren't much better with their £400 million squad. I thought Iwobi and Doucoure were good for 70 minutes but they ran out of steam. Godfrey and Mina had good games. Olsen was a plus but in midfield Gomes struggled but I thought Tom D was no better. Bernard was ok but hes not Richarlison. Colemans 1st game back he grew in the game. We are going to have to get used to this until we get our key players. If we defend well we are more than capable of scoring at the other end.

The team were knackered tonight - had just played 3 games in 7 days against 3 quick playing sides and had to play another tonight.

Utd could freshen it up tonight but we couldn't thats the problem.

I get we need better options but I am not having tiredness as an excuse tonight. They just crapped themselves.

that was our big problem in the first half hour, the defence tried to play out Utd had a good effective high press and the midfield weren't showing to take it off the defence, and when they did, it was a wall pass back. Not enough players wanted it badly enough
