Ah, we beat them last season when we were even worse. I can accept losing to a side much better resourced than us. What I can't accept is dismissing a complete no-show as us returning to the mean. It's not like we won five of the last six. We have been steadily - but painfully slowly - improving this season. This United side is poor. We need to be getting something here - if not a point, then a performance. We have gotten neither.

They’ve responded in the right way to their humbling last time out and we’ve had a bad day at the office. The margins are fine enough in football as it is for all but the most elite, and us having a shocker against a better team playing well isn’t ideal but it very much is what it is.
