We were way too defensive after first goal, should've gone for them with the crowd fired up and their confidence lacking

Spurs are beatable if they put a performance like they did against Arsenal, same with Newcastle, Palace and Fulham, if we show the level we have the previous 7 games and not the 35 mins that cos us tonight

I’d be surprised if we beat them, I’d take a draw now.

It just didn't happen for us today, but, we are very much a work in progress and at the moment we are probably lower mid table level and after last season that is progress. We will lose many more games before this season is out, we will some more as well. Shouts like 'we are in a relegation battle's are, quite frankly, baffling. We didn't play well, we lost it happens.

Would be nice to have a home game not against the top 6 at some point.

One of those games where getting an early goal really hindered the performance for some reason.

Based on last six months it would've been better to play a tight first half, scramble a goal start of second half and then cling on for the win.

Instead it was all very flat from the minute it went 1-1. Showed a bit last 10 minutes but sometimes a reality check result isn't a bad thing.

Very tough next two games so hopefully confidence isn't going to be dented too much and team can get a draw from one of them.

With the way our decent defensive record kept getting mentioned, it was pretty much nailed on that we'd get beat. Still, it's only one loss in our last eight games or so; let's get back on track with the next one.

It's improving but not that good yet and 12th place would represent a decent season.

Midfield was poor there was no real shape and when we lost the ball it left us exposed too often, still it's the first defeat in 7 in the league so you can't crib too much.

FFS .. MANY People on here had us relegation candidates at the start of the season. We are not that.. We are a work in progress.

The fact United only won 2-1 shows how mediocre they are. We were awful today.
