I thought by city's standards they weren't as good as they normally are.
However they would still have beaten most teams in the league with that performance.

What I mean is city didn't look invincible, and a lot of mistakes by us made it easier for them.

I do agree with you in the sense that we did have situations we could've made more of, though I think that's part and parcel of their game. If you've got the composure and quality to take advantage then you can really hurt them. Personally thought their sharpness and speed of passing and close control was difficult to combat - we needed them to be well below their best tonight but they were fairly well at it.

Not angry with our performance nor am I in any way delighted. Far angrier with Fulham, Newcastle etc though, that's where we let ourselves down badly.

Lol yea because the league makes teams buy good players and us buy crap ones we all said we needed a winger CF RB at the start of the season
We didn’t get 1

The sport is setup so the best teams continue to dominate and bring in more money and thus sign better players than other clubs, players that most of the league can’t even think about attracting.

No league should be allowed to have a club like city where their bench is stronger than most clubs starting 11s. Football fundamentally promotes an uncompetitive environment and always has done.

Look at American sports, I can’t stand them for the most part but they at least try to even things out a bit with salary caps, worst teams getting draft picks... yes it’s a completely different setup but at least there is an attempt or desire to have something vaguely resembling an even playing field.

Football doesn’t even pretend to be interested in keeping things competitive

Inappropriate Language
BBC:
Plenty of meetings in the middle as Jordan Pickford catches up with John Stones and Kyle Walker, Richarlison discusses the result with Ederson and Gabriel Jesus and a beaming Fabian Delph is just happy to see any of his former team-mates.

I think this sums up modern football, the money is everything to these frauds. Playing for the shirt? Forget it.
This is what makes me angry. They don't [Poor language removed] care. They'll be back slapping the Reds at the weekend after they put 5 past us.

City only played as well as they were allowed to!

The Wolverhampton rag (The Tribune?), has not revealed much lately on that subject mate ...as i said earlier, the fatwa is still in place so I'm assuming Roscoe might be in the dog-house with Bethany Jo.
