Look we are a mid table team. Siggy, iwobi, coleman, holgate, pickford. Until all these players arent near the team we will remain a mid table team. Dont think we were shocking tonight. Just immobile, slow players that will show that again v liverpool. No suprise to me. We have some decent players but not wnligh. City make it look so easy and are a very good side.

They didn't get out of first gear. They didn't even play well and beat us comfortably on our own patch. These players are a disgraceful bunch.
Thats rubbish, they are playing well. I think we paid them to much respect before we scored the goal then we pushed up and had more of a go. You make it sound like they were there for the taking. They scored 2 goals outside the box. We stayed in the game until that worldie from Mahrez. Pickford probably should have saved the 3rd. C

We are absolute miles away from a decent team
We are so average. City didn’t get out of 2nd gear. Midfield doesn’t close down. James was more involved in 2 minutes than Siggy did all game and still gets picked.
Fed up with this team tbh

I think that's the problem mate, some were getting carried away at spells in the season (especially with our start) when the reality is we're not actually that good.

Mate they have brushed all aside since november.
Whats that. 17 consecutive wins.
Yes but we still gave them the second half, we did nothing they totally controlled us. But I can take that to a degree from City it’s Fulham no Newcastle I struggle with. We have gone backwards lately, each game in reminding me more and more of Silvas final games here, thats I terrible as we do have one of the worlds best managers.

we know mate. It’s going to take time

But we have been beat by the best team in the land
I know it's going to take time. I'm just glad we've got Carlo tbh (although some of the defeats have been down to his tactics/selections - but hey, that happens).

Don't really appreciate people giving me sarcastic comments and 'middle fingers' for saying so though. It's hard to see the club getting into the top half on current trends and everyone also said there's no way we finish bottom half last year after Carlo's start - but we did. They are such cowards that when it is clear we can't get into Europe (which will come sooner rather than later) I bet they just down tools again like last season.

Hope I'm wrong but I'm amazed that people think there are positives from that performance. We were awful and City didn't even have to try. If they really had something to play for that would be a cricket score.

They are mentally so far ahead, city. Every time they lose the ball it's like they anticipate exactly where the opposition is gonna go, meaning they win it back so quickly. Then impeccable touch to keep the ball when they have it again. Masterful stuff and extremely frustrating to play against
