Can't fault Victor, he was chasing everything, scored two, even celebrated his goal like he meant it. Obviously I hope Jelavic is back next game but Victor should be high on confidence after that, but typically you couldn't blame him for coming out of the game absolutely deflated and downheartened.

He shouldn't be there. Since WBA, brings back the idea that Felli needs dropping deeper.

I wrote it one of the Fellaini threads that he should only play in the hole against the better-placed clubs (basically only the Manchesters and Chelski). Against teams of mid or low-table, he should be playing box-to-box with Osman in the hole.

We should club our money together to hire a private detective and finally get to the bottom of exactly what it is that Phil Neville has over Moyes. Did he catch him shagging Hibbert in the manager's office? Whatever it is, it stinks and needs looking into.

Yeah special mention for Vic. Got himself about and scored 2 legit goals. Bet he's just as gutted (if not even moreso) than the rest of us right now.

He needs to learn that scoring one goal isn't enough, you need to back it up. This is his super-sub problem, he needs to be pissed-off to play well. I'm yet to see him play a great game when starting.

just one of those nights. Had a feeling all night Newcastle would undeservedly get something out of it and they did.

We didn't get any luck today, 2 good goals disallowed and jelavic injured. But over the course of a season you would hope that it is going to even out. Those matches hurt and stick in the throat. But everyone remembers when it go's against you rather than matches like Blackburn away last ear.

Most important thing is that we are playing well. We are due a bucket load of luck in one match. Who knows it might be the derby.

One bright light from tonight was Mirallas. How good did he look!
I dont even know how he gave offside. Looking back on it, Fellaini is behind the player, the linesman cant even see Fellaini so how the **** can you give offside! With Anichebe's goal, im sorry, but he couldnt have been in a better position to see it if he tried ffs.
Neville gash though. Even when we dominated the first half i still shat myself everytime he got the ball. ****ing retire.

We put that game out of sight second half, we should have been 3 - 1 up.

Not our fault TWO legit goals were ruled out

yeah i know, technically it should have been 4-1 before they even got a chance to equalise. but it should have been a whole lot more. if those 2 points are what seperates us from something major like europe or CL then i will not be amused. i demand moyes to ask serious questions of the FA and FIFA. we have let circumstances like this pass by way to often. in my life the bad luck outweighs the good luck a massive amount when it comes to everton. i cant believer with all the money in football, it is the only sport without technology. this extra official **** on the touchline doesn't work so why hasn't technology been brought in? officials are too inept. the ref had a shocking 2nd half for both teams, they make the job look so much harder than it is.

cricket and rugby amongst others have had no problem with moving towards technology, is it too hard to put a sensor in the ball and in the goalframe to make a beep sound?? seriously, is that too much to ask?

I thought Mirallas was OK but wildly selfish. He could have laid off for Jelavic for what would have basically been a definite goal in the first half, and once or twice for Osman and Fellaini too but he took the shot on instead - only one of which having a chance at troubling the net.

He needs to look up and get that out of his game as it cost us tonight.

Got to highlight Pienaar too then mate. Ossie was clean through to make it 2-0 and he shot and missed. That was the most criminal of the lot.

we can blame the ref all we want, but moyes favourtism is what really cost us, Heitinga is well within his rights to throw a transfer request in
Unfortunately, this.

If Neville isn't on the bench and if Heitinga doesn't start on Saturday Kenwright wants to call Moyes in to explain himself and explain why he isn't picking his strongest team based on the players available.

I know but he got the assist for Baines and worked the ball well in the first half - plus if Pienaar has one fault it's actually not shooting enough! Faded in the second as did a few players, but my issue with Mirallas is that he's an exciting prospect but we were told he was a selfish player before he arrived and, if he is to be that selfish, he has to back it up with goals on a regular basis, otherwise he'll be a frustrating liability.

I just think he could have afforded to look up and acknowledge the options around him rather than take the shot on every time.
