If the crowd had been there I like to this we'd have not stood for it and, if not gee the lazy so and so's up, but at least them the know what we thought. I would have been hoarse from screaming. and my mighty end of match boos would have been heard across the land.

It’s apparent that we have fitness issues.

With the exceptions of say Dom, Doucoure and Godfrey, many of our players look as though they’re good for perhaps thirty or forty minutes at most.

Sigurdsson for instance looks like he’s pulling for tugs on occasions, and I often wonder whether it’s more a case of recovery rather than ‘hiding’ in relation to Gomez’s periods of being inconspicuous. For a player of his ability, that instance of poor control in front of goal towards the end of the Leicester game spoke volumes for me.

I could of course add to this list of examples, not to sleight individuals, but just to highlight my concern.

I saw a post on Twitter from a friend of a friend which made my blood boil....it said can you remember back in September when Everton were saying it’s going to be their year? Now look at them? .......

Who the hell said we were going to win the league? No Everton fan did

MoM? None of them today. But a special mention for most abysmal refereeing performance of the season so far has to go to Stuart Attwell.
Apparently Newcastle have won the last five games in which Attwell has reffed them. Some stat when you consider how rarely Newcastle win...

It’s what fans do with each other. It’s part of the territory. Treat it with a pinch of salt. No need for boiling blood.

I didn't expect performances like this during our unbeaten run at the start of the season and thought we'd be competing at the top till the end.

I hope we don't drop away and we do tend to play better and get better results against teams that usually finish at the top end of the table, especially
at home.

Woke up with residual anger after that result yesterday ;(

Got Leeds, United, Fulham & Them red lot in the next four. Probably not expected to get more than 3pts in that run but as I always say, we do better in games where we're not expected to win. Luckily 3 of them are away from home. As Carlo says, we don't forget our "spirit" at home in these games.

Bar United, we've lost twice to Newcastle, Leeds, West Ham and Southampton. Not exactly the top teams but more of the teams around us. Maybe if we played to top 6 every weeks we'd show more consistency. Rant over.

Agreed. Most of these players are bench fodder reserved to make an impact in 15-20min bursts. Whenever Gomes, Siggy, Bernard etc comes off the bench for cameo roles they look better than when they start.

Still can't believe how pathetic that was yesterday it was very reminiscent of the Silva season. Some of the frauds in that team still need punting Sig and Coleman would be first out of the team for me. We are missing the home crowd I can't believe with fans in there they would have accepted that.
