There's just a loser attitude that runs right through the club. Manager after manager can't sort it out. The owners should let someone come in and clear the place out top to bottom. From the tea lady to the board of directors. We can talk about a lack of desire, a lack of pace, a lack of creativity, whatever, but the problem is a lack of consequence when we fail. We weren't just outfought by Sheff U tonight, we were outplayed. That's by a team with 5 wins and 2 draws all season before tonight. Yet we all know the same losers will be on the pitch against Wolves.

I never thought I’d question Carlo but I don’t get his selection choices at all. Or his substitutions. I’m gutted we’re so poor. Davies is limited but he would be in my starting 11 every game. That’s due to having such a poor squad but he should play. Gomes shouldn’t be anywhere near the match day squad.
Expecting Gomes to come on and change a game is like expecting water to not be wet. Hasn’t happened in 3 years but hey, why not get him on when we need 2 goals? Carlo is an undoubtedly great manager but persisting with the same garbage is annoying.

Not fit for the badge, any of them. Enjoy next season if you can lads. It will be our last in the Premier League.

Can't believe I'm writing this but Carlo and Everton are killing my interest in football
It’s the negative play
All the time ball goes out wide and we turn and go back we have 0 penetration we have no vision we must be the slowest team in the prem

needs to leave take brands and get someone with a bit of passion

Was anyone remotely surprised by this performance?

I have some major questions. Why did we not look remotely bothered? Sheff Utd didn't even need to play that well, they scored but didn't even have to sit back.

Why do we never bust a gut to get back into a game?
Why do we never make teams defend for their lives when leading against us?
Why do we never shoot?
Why do our corners never clear the first man (also why do we love to have a silly little fracas before every corner we take?)
Why do we change our whole formation, remove a defender and bring on an attacker yet show zero distinguishable difference in how we play?
Why do our players run from the back into space only to then turn around and play it right back to the position they have just ran from?
Why does nobody make a run?
Why do we never play a ball in front of a team mate for them to run on to?
Why do we never close down shots from just outside the area?
Why do we constantly leave players unmarked in the six yard box? (and not just young lads making their debuts but Harry Kane...twice!)
Why do we keep passing it around the back for no apparent reason only to then hoof it upfield as soon as the opponent regroups (or hoof it out of play)
Why do we still continue to pass the ball around the back when the pitch is a bog due to ridiculously heavy rain?

These are far too many questions for me.

Face it, Sheff U had nothing to lose and were playing for pride. We were the opposite.

And like a lot of teams this year they scented blood early on. They just had to shut us out to win it and it's scarily easy to do.

Feel like I've been watching the same match for months and it's always dog ++++
