My first ever game other than a preseason kick a around in Australia!

Please Goodison, be at your best tomorrow! I have been waiting for this for a very long time!

Also any dodgy/spawny win will do!
Just wait until you walk up the stairs and see the pitch for the first time. It's a moment that will live with you forever. Stop, take a deep breath and have a good look around. There really isn't a better view in the world.

I still love it even after 40+ years. Still get the butterflies. Still takes my breath away. It's just in us.

Spot on this, when my dad first took me to Goodison, Stoke 4-0 in 84 the view across to the Bulllls Road followed by the pitch as we came out into the Main Stand, life changing, I actually move back to the Main Stand this summer for the first time since back then partially for that reason

Definitely. My first time at Goodison was under the floodlights on a weeknight. Absolutely electrifying, got there just before kick off and the crowd were already full voice.

Win this and we put distance between ourselves and Southampton, one of our main rivals for seventh.

Davies in the middle with Gana and Barkley. Mirallas, Lukaku and Valencia up top.

Just a quick one hopefully one of you locals can answer for me....

Just wondering if the busses in Liverpool are running normally tomorrow with it being a bank holiday. Usually get the 86 in to the city before the game from the airport.
It's a bank holiday so there will be a Sunday service in operation

2017 - a new year, a new Everton? Or the same old from 2016?

I still fully back Koeman and Walsh - a good win today followed up by some concrete offers going in for players this week will start the new year off nicely. Get Goodison Rocking!!

1-1 going into the 90th minute. Shane Long's opener gets cancelled out by Seamus Coleman bouncing a hard drive off Lukaku into the net. Barkley breaks down in tears after a particularly vicious tirade from a 12 year old as he took a throw-in. Some in the stadium are fed up with what they see and start leaving their seats to beat the rush.

One last attack.

Gueye makes a routine pass to Lukaku's feet just outside the box. Lukaku frantically tries to control it, his body and legs flailing as the ball loops over his head and the he falls gracelessly into some pots and pans. That seems to be it. Virgil Van Dijk has it now after somehow circumnavigating his suspension. Barkley is in tears, and Lukaku has small cartoon birds flying around his head. All he has to do is maintain possession.

But wait.

VVD turns around and a large gasp can be heard as he smashes the ball into the roof of his own net. Scenes as he rips off his Southampton jersey to reveal an Everton kit underneath, and he ends up tearfully embracing the GSE, clearly not aware that they will turn on him 2 months later. Tyler shouts "mah gawd, mah gawd!!!!" as Koeman leaves the field to the tune of "No Chance in Hell"

Fin.
