Just a quick one hopefully one of you locals can answer for me....

Just wondering if the busses in Liverpool are running normally tomorrow with it being a bank holiday. Usually get the 86 in to the city before the game from the airport.

Could really do with winning this. Results aren't that bad at the moment, but the performances are wretched.

Southampton seem to of dropped off the edge of a cliff and are without Van Dijk for this along with Austin. Of all the teams over the Festive period they are playing their 3 fixtures in the shortest amount of time, so hopefully a good chance of a win before a couple of weeks away from the league.

We were poor at St. Mary's a few weeks ago and they'll again be up for it against their former manager.

Now is the time to start Davies over Barry IMO. I'd also like to see Holgate come back in.

Either way a win would put us on 30 points and hopefully we will end the month with a stronger squad than we are going into it.

Some Southampton memories

That was all right that.
For some strange reason I'm feeling confident about this.

2-1 to the Blue Boys.

Have faith brother.
I'd love to see it... but he's under contract until 2018, playing regularly and is only 23. With the likes of Sissoko going for £30m in the summer, he's gonna cost £35m at least; we have areas of greater need and for type of money I just don't think it will happen. I'd love to be wrong though!

We can win this, all depends on the team he puts out. We need the young lads who will fight for everything. Put the old guard out and I sense a bore draw. Time we made some positive changes, get fight and youth in to the team. Hopefully the transfer window is going to give us options instead of the what RK thinks are the safe choices. Really infuriates me and reminds me of the Moyes era when certain names went on the team sheet if the were in form or not.
