Feel extremely sorry for the thousands down there. Long trip, stupid Sunday late kick off, less than a month to Christmas and terrific backing as always.
Fortunately in the days where I frequented more away games, there's usually enough ale to help change the mood quite quickly.

Doubt they'll have heads that are in a good condition tomorrow however.

This!
A poor performance? Absolutely, but this forum sucks the life out of you after games like that.
I'm all for criticism when it's constructive, but this place is full of doom mongers, knee jerkers and worse still, people who absolutely revel in it.
Jerks like this
are all too common on here.
Do these people really consider themselves Everton 'supporters'? Poor performance from the team yes, but disgraceful performance from some posters (I picked on @Brendan Janus post, but sadly there are many other examples)

Love Everton. Hate the attitude of some who laughingly call themselves Evertonians.

Keeping out of the poisonous 'Everton only' Forum from now on.
See you in the 'Ale House' (when I return from the ale house)
Agreed. this forum has some great people on it but last couple of years I find myself in it less and less due to this crap.
Best thing to do is swerve and pub straight after game.

No alternative other than to give him time. I hope we don't end up with a Niasse or Bolasie in a buying for buying sake in January. We need a structured batch of new faces fit for purpose.
Cue Walsh to earn his corn.
Barry's place is surely up for grabs. Walsh is the obvious choice in house and I hope he is at least given a chance. Add in Jags and Baines and there is huge opportunity for the youth team.

Given the U23s are top of the league, there must surely be some of them up to the level now where they get a chance.

Didn't watch it, though via the comments I am pretty sure of how it went down.

Surely it is now time for Koeman to pull his finger out and change up the team a bit... we need to find something that works, fast.

Gutted. Taking my nephew to his first Everton game in the reverse fixture of this, let's hope we have picked up steam by then and roll them over at home.

Coyb..

Giving your all on the pitch even if you fall short in quality is the least requirement for the fans!! We can accept that but not not giving a feck.

Not one to talk of doom and gloom, but it will be 'fun' being in a relegation fight again.

Because unless it changes quickly, that is where we will be in January lads.

All the players have to do is keep doing what they are doing and all the fans optimism in the world wont change that.
