Very sensible call just on 5Live.

Basically saying - "what's the panic".

Agreed with every word.

The caveat is that in the meantime we need to be seeing some spark and some change.

We know these players aren't good enough, so let's try mix it up.

It doesn't need to be wholsesale changes at all, but one or two in and a mix in system could at least spark something.

Not one to talk of doom and gloom, but it will be 'fun' being in a relegation fight again.

Because unless it changes quickly, that is where we will be in January lads.

All the players have to do is keep doing what they are doing and all the fans optimism in the world wont change that.
There's no panic mate.

Genuinely.

The table doesn't lie. There's currently 13 teams that have been poorer than us this season.

We need to see some palpable change quickly though.

I know, but if we played those first five games again I know we would not accumulate the same points!
January is a massive month now. I do not see where the next win is coming from, based on the last 8 games.
So there are 13 teams beneath us now, but for how much longer?
We are a third into the season and no form to talk of.
The players have showed their colours and they are not covering themselves in any glory.

Not panic, just wonderment.

Spot on but sadly a lone voice in the sea of doom and excitement for many.

For many of us, we would love to see RK give other lads a game. Holgate and Davies go without saying.
But when will he do it? How many more uninspiring defeats before he grows a set?

Had he done a few games a go, I am sure many conversations on GOT would not be happening!

The only time I get to see EFC "live" is on TV ........ and what I saw today appalled me.

The two CBs seemed to be playing a different game to each other and Jags has lost half a metre of pace which is seriously compromising his positioning.
Baines too is getting slower and being skinned
The centre mids were being pulled all over the place and neither had an outstanding game
No idea what is going on in Barkley's head as it isn't football
If Lennon is the answer, then I have no idea what is the question
And Lukaku offered as much threat today as a bowl of blancmange

Thank God I'm not in RKs shoes and January cannot come soon enough IF he can find the tools to fix the team

jags holding up the post with sketlenburg claiming offside when saints scored was symbolic of the season so far. nothing has changed tatics wise and as for fitness if they were 70 pc at start more like 40 pc now. no pressing, no energy and ideas in final third. lennon was a passenger all match and the only difference was mirallas who offered a few options when coming on. utter shambles creative wise and the fact that koeman couldnt offer much explanation post match suggests the players arent the only ones clueless. this if we played first half as in second excuse is way beyond a joke now. saints sat back after they scored and with our offenesive capability they had nowt to worry about. january will be panic buying unless he has players lined up. if jan is anything like the summer i doubt the likes of valencia signing will be great comfort

Koeman needs to give Baines, Jags, Barkley and Lukaku time on the sidelines. We need players that should graft for the cause.

Stek
Coleman Holgate Williams Gallowy
McCarthy Barry Gueye
Del/Mirallas/Lennon Valencia/Kone Bolasie

More so give Bolasie a free role and another.

What we are doing at the moment isn't working and that is down to the manager. I think he has lost the dressing room.

I don't think any manager could do much more with those players. We've been poor for 2 seasons have been lucky that there's been alot of terrible teams in the division.
