A win against a good opposition that were taking it seriously. Could have scored more but so could they. Reassuring that we were pretty fluid after Dom went off instead of looking clueless. To be fair to Maupay his wandering deep and taking ball in to feet seemed to actually get him in the right places.

Would have liked to have seen a clear main formation and obvious first eleven. The mere inclusion of Godfrey means that wasn’t it.

Not sure about Tarks. Looks like a coming together but he may have had his studs planted. Fingers crossed.
 
Well that rounds off a poor pre season same issues nothings changed another relegation scrap begins next weekend. Maupay useless Iwobi not much better, Players lack any composure or creativity in the final 3rd really poor. Stick your stadium where the sun doesn’t shine if that’s what we will be watching in it at the expense of not strengthening the squad.
 

Really good to keep a clean sheet. That's going to be the foundation we build upon all season. We look so poor on the ball at times, but I understand why Dyche's priority is to make us as strong defensively first.
Build from the back for me, always in the points if you don't concede.
