Well, after Southampton I was baffled, and put it down to "one of those days". Today, from what I saw, we looked more at it, but still didnt seem that dangerous. And the ref. Hence annoyed.
...the good news is that the Soton thread has dropped into history. The bad news is that we now have to analyse the Stoke game. If ever a team were tailor made to face the Potters today it was Everton. Total lack of sharpness, all so lethargic all so sad.
We were awful mate, no movement whatsoever and no fight. We deserved nothing.

Well if one guy on a website said it he must be a genius, or it was inevitable!
They won today cos of a missed Red Card and a soft pen. Don't think every manager can rely on that happening...Well we can't buy half a new team. Did people think that when he came in and started changing things that would be it? That because it went well last season then it would just continue like that? When you replace a manager who is so different to who you had previously you have to expect problems adapting. We were lucky last year that our expectations were blown out of the water with how we played and performed in the league. Now we are facing hard times, we need to see it through and look forwards to a return to something like the form of last year, but it may take a while...

Bit sad really isn't it that this will actually be the lineup and we can already predict it, bit of a joke really isn't it. If he doesn't change it soon people are going to want him out, if they don't already. I'm definitely not Martinez Out but I'm 100% Martinez sort it out.

What happened in the second half?
We were battering them for the last quarter of the first half and should have had two goals, from Barry and Nirallas.
I thought it was all set up for a good old fashioned, rip roaring assault after half time but the opposite was the case.
Bizarrely, ithe foot appeared to be taken off the gas and the only bit of pressure applied came when Sammy appeared.
It was as if he chastised the players for playing with a bit if passion and told them to revert to tiki taka as the stats man told him we would have a better chance if we had more possession by paying the ball sideways.
Not happy with Bobby now at all.
And I think by the time City leave here in a few weeks we are going to be in a full blown relegation dog fight.
