Bit sad really isn't it that this will actually be the lineup and we can already predict it, bit of a joke really isn't it. If he doesn't change it soon people are going to want him out, if they don't already. I'm definitely not Martinez Out but I'm 100% Martinez sort it out.

Even though I'm angry and disgusted with the recent performances we can't be saying stuff like 'Martinez out' etc. because he deserves a chance to get himself out of this mess, we owe him that. Re-evaluate the situation at the end of the season and see how things look but now, no way. Hopefully he can turn it all around.

Yes I'll go along with that, I find it very depressing like a lot on here but when you are on a bad run, you never get the
run of the ball and the big decisions go against you like today.

glad I went back to bed at half-time (5 am in NZ). Am looking forward to watching the cricket today (NZ v Sri Lanka).

To be honest, I am not even arsed about that result. I have kicked this season to touch.

Was a good watch yesterday, BMac pasting it all over the ground.
I thought we showed signs of last season in the first half going forward. Had more confidence in ourselves. Then it all went to pot and we never recovered mentally from those two refereeing decisions in the space of a minute.

On Final result, the commentator stated we were poor, that Stoke were better and deserved the points. What excuse is Roberto going to claim now. Do our players have no idea that the point of the game is to score goals in the other teams net. Do they even know where the net is?

The bottom line though is they are presumably playing to the manager's plan. Our performances have to be laid at his door win, draw or lose, in this season mostly draws and bad losses.

I get the feeling that he has no idea what to do, that it is all over his head. Never in a game does he seem capable of using the subs properly and changing the game plan.

Goodness knows how much longer this can go on.

Its pretty hard not to lose faith when we continue dropping points against teams in bad form or with bad injuries . Theres no positives from these games , yet the manager comments that there were to the point its insanity or insulting. And to find a solution he then picks the same formation that doesn't work , and the same brand of football that is boring and frustrating to watch. Other prem teams have sussed his 1 idea out , fans and football commentators have pointed out time and time again the failings of his ideology . Yet its ground hog day every bloody game and the same frustrations the same problems and the same sub standard results.

Out there AGAIN today i saw lazy players who refused to pass, when they did pass they couldn't pass five yards, players refused to move into space meaning we had no movement and no attack. Players were second to every ball, players were lazy in picking up stoke players, players looked like they couldn't be bothered throughout.

If you think Martinez can control that on the sideline then you play too much fifa, there's only so much he can do, golden boy Barkley was a disgrace today!

Stoke players would've run through brick walls to get to that ball, our players at times wouldn't move five yards.

Blame Martinez for the slow build up etc, but those players didn't give a damn today and haven't for a long time (except the usual good guys like naismith)
