Stoke fans on their forum (oatcake) piping up after a 0-1 victory against us LOL. I quote 'Everton are [Poor language removed]', 'Martinez is taking them nowhere', 'Well done Erik, made my season (referring to the tackle on Mirallas)'. Reality check - You'll always be a nothing club that nobody ever recognizes so pipe down you bunch of bellends.

Behave you dope.
So i'm wrong?

Barkley stood watching the ball numerous times, his passing was embarrassing! five yards and he was passing to stoke players, he didn't track back and several times got screamed at...he's had one good game in 9. Osman gets slated for one misplaced pass, Lukaku is STILL getting slated for being stuck upfront alone with no support, yet golden boy can do no wrong.

Sterling has apparently been found out people on here say...Barkley has been found out for me.

You're exagerating

Season in the league is pretty much over. There's no difference between 8th and 17th and we're not going to get relegated. Pick 3 out of Leicester/West Brom/Palace/Burnley/Sunderland/Hull - we are at least playing better than all of them. Europa is where it's at

That ref. That ref. That ref.

On a scale of one to knee how jerk is it here

Oh that the league season really was "over" and I could share your confidence about us not being relegated.

I don't think we will but I can see us flirting with the relegation zone over the next few months.

I don't see where the next win is coming from.

Certainly not at the Barcodes on Sunday.

I see no reason why Hull won't fancy their chances after the way we payed against them the other week.

And then City come a' calling.

Two points maximum from the next three games is what I am seeing in my crystal ball.

And that being the case the Europa League will be the least of our worries.

This malaise has been there since the run in last season where it was becoming apparent teams had worked us out but we finished with a good points total and looked forward to this season. But things have never really improved from the run in and our pre season was abject. We all thought we had got a top manager but the thing that's always been a sticking point with me is that a top manager doesn't get a team relegated. Top managers win games, even against the odds, they get results. Personally I think Bobby has lost the dressing room which is near impossible to get back. His philosophy is ineffective. A top manager doesn't make a team play like he dreams. A top manager adapts his tactics to the players he has available. We all get the hump wit Jags and Distin but they are being asked to do something they are not comfortable doing and when hey make a mistake, due to formation problems, the other team are right on our keeper. Their confidence is shot just like the rest of the team imo. It's a shame what he's done to honest pros.

I forgot that not being a winger means he can't pass five yards, refuses to run, doesn't get in space, refuses to track back and help, lazy in play and absolutely dreadful throughout!

If Osman was stuck there playing that bad today he would've been lynched! Barkley is a myth
Hmmm
So our arguably best talent is to blame ?
its not the fact the formation nulifies the 2 best fullbacks in the league , We are basically playing with 6 players defending , 2 wide men who are central midfielders , and a 28 million pound striker being asked to do a lone role which doesn't allow him to utilise the best of his talents.

This is all the managers decisions.

Read my post further above, i haven't blamed one player. But Barkley stood out like a sore thumb today, he stunk the place out.

Again no manager can force a team to pass properly in a game, or actually move, it's not fifa...it's real life

You call him a myth? He's played in his natural position once this season, and ran the show. Have a think lad. I'm not arsed about Raheem in the slightest. You're right, Osman would have been slaughtered for that but it still wouldn't have been his natural position. It's difficult to find space when you're in a role that's not natural to you, you naturally go where you feel comfortable, which completely ruins him defensively and makes Baines look average.

Not Barkley's fault, he doesn't pick himself out there. It's the manager who refuses to let him play central midfield and persists with Barry who looks about 5 million years old!

Strangely enough, another of last season's flavour of the month got his previous team relegated....Jurgen Klopp.

But the wheels have come off his wagon as well.

Tbh today I thought naismith and barry were much more pathetic with there passing and control of the game than barkley .

You reminded me of the Hull match and now I am sad.

It would be totally totally like us to lose to Newcastle , lose to Hull, beat City.

But I think you're right. 2 points out of the next 3 - though i was thinking Newcastle was a day we could run riot. Oh well.
I seriously don't think we'll be relegated or come close to it.
