Just seen the highlights.
Their second was a fluke. He was trying to square it ish. Wasnt even looking at the goal ffs.
Dubious penalty, being generous.
3rd was a great cross, which caught everyone out, and fell nicely for them.
1st was a really good goal.
Sake.
Another good penalty call turned down for us.
Sake. Sake.
We would've been TWO points off 5th
Agree, our dark days weren't under Pulis they were under managers such as Alan Ball and Brian Little, standing on the grass bank at Springfield Park getting spanked 4-0 by Wigan, getting turned over regularly at home to the likes of Cambridge Utd, Chester City and Shrewsbury Town. For those Evertonians in their late 30's like me or younger Stoke are an over achieving side, but for those who are 40+ they will know us a top flight team (albeit one that generally struggled apart from the odd purple patch in the 50's/60's and 70's) so I see no reason why we can't push on from here. Our chairman is Stoke born and bred and his company Bet365 are getting bigger and bigger each year so hopefully there is a next level round the corner. But I certainly won't be counting my chickens as I've seen plenty of teams come and go......
No question your side has been in tremendous form the last couple of months. Just curious if you could share what has contributed to Stoke's turnaround this season from when you were bottom and winless after 6 games? Is it just the players performing or did Hughes make any changes tactically? Cheers.

Didn't mean it to be an insult towards the club, it was completely a dig at Pulis who I think is a terrible manager, and a bitter bitter old man. I take you point and its completely fair.
I've nothing against Stoke at all as a club, I just enjoy watching you far more than in the past now you've lost the long throw garbage and the deliberate injury tactics of Pulis.
As I said already, I really really hope yous can knock the rs out. And who knows, maybe another thriller at Wembley?
No offence caused at all mate. When we played with Etherington and Pennant out wide and Fuller up front in full flow we were direct but exciting to watch, the last couple of seasons were just dire though with 4 centre halves accross the back and 4 workhorses across the midfield. A change was needed for both parties, and we haven't looked back since....
We're usually slow starters under Hughes although this year was particularly poor. Bojan was coming back from his cruciate injury, Shaqiri and Afellay getting used to the pace of the Premier League and Ryan Shawcross was missing until November after back surgery. That's pretty much it in a nutshell, we usually push on from here so I'm hopeful of a real good points tally this season although I'd swap that for a cup win of course....
...could be the surprise package of the 2nd half of the season. Always like watching Bojan, a proper player and the Austrian boy is a real threat. Good goalkeeper, not too sure about the lad alongside Shawcross but Lukaku is giving everybody a tough time at the moment. Good luck in the semi final.
Agree, what I'd give for Lukaku up top with Arnautovic, Bojan and Shaqiri behind him. But as I said earlier some of Everton's attacking play was superb so plenty to be positive about, you're arguably a Ryan Shawcross away from a top 6/7 finish.....
