I want to see Baines slowly phased out over the next 2 seasons for Galloway/Garbutt. Baines on his day is still utterly exceptional but injuries are starting to take their toll. We are more compact with Galloway on the left side and his timing is inpeccable.

Browning has some development to do and I would like ideally when we don't have as many injuries to loan him to a side like Bournemouth or Norwich. However he has not shamed himself at all - far from it. Coleman has a case of Ivanovic-itis where he starts going forward a bit too much.

I don't think we now need to play with FBs bombing on. Certainly not two in the way we did with Baines and Coleman in the past.

I'd rather we play with a flatter back four and two wingers.

Even MerPol were getting in on the act of poking fun at Sunderland, although unfortunately some people seem to be offended by it all.

Very occasionally, in a very specific context, rape jokes can be funny.
Like when you're with your friends, in private, and you can be 100 percent sure everyone present knows it's just a joke.
For a police department in the most public of forums to indulge though, that's utterly bang on.
Way out of order.
Nothing better to do with our money than make light of one of the most serious crimes you're charged with preventing?
Foolish IMO.

Two things for me, that ball from Lukaku to Kone from his left foot was the most sublime cross I've seen in a while and the papers are saying nice things..."When Everton click in this manner, they are a wonderful team to watch.".............great day.........

We do need for Ross just to push forward with the ball a bit more. Some of our play was wonderful, but with a teenie tiny bit more directness we would have scored 12..........

As an aside: has anyone ever listened to that Radio Merseyside match commentator, Derek Jones? A bitter Kopite if ever there was one. Every match he does of Everton's he sounds like he's going to slash his wrists when we score. He said today (and I quote) "Sunderland created as many chances as Everton but unfortunately could only take two". It's unreal how 'kin biased against Everton he is. Imagine a local radio commentator handing that out to that treatment to Liverpool. They'd burn the radio station down.

Anyone else come across this nobhead?
