Confession: I love the one and two touch football in the opponents half (especially with a goal or two lead) that then goes back to the keeper, who then passes it to Stones and it all starts again.

Also I love Barkley playing 3 or 4 passes with the same player.
He's saying "Step out of position to try and stop this and I'll either have you on toast or pick a pass in to the space you've just left".

I've always felt this way but it's taken a good win for me to have the confidence to say it in public.
Hopefully a few more years and we'll be cheering possession football that goes back to the keeper the way Swansea do.

Played amazing today...

What is with Stones, though? Was it just a bad day at the office, or is he missing Jagielka, or is he going through survivor's guilt at escaping the dire fate that would have been a move to Chelsea?

Recently back from injury, still learning his trade and a bit lacking in sharpness and form, is my take on it.

....I like that Lukaku had no thought of taking a tumble when he went around the keeper, he wanted to score. He does look a fine player when he's on his game.

It's nice to see him being on his game more regularly as well. I think he's starting to add that consistency he needs to become a top striker.

I think his head has been turned and is missing jags so much.
He needs to sharpen up for next week with carroll an valencia.
He is only young though and maybe the fans have hyped him up a bit.
