As an aside: has anyone ever listened to that Radio Merseyside match commentator, Derek Jones? A bitter Kopite if ever there was one. Every match he does of Everton's he sounds like he's going to slash his wrists when we score. He said today (and I quote) "Sunderland created as many chances as Everton but unfortunately could only take two". It's unreal how 'kin biased against Everton he is. Imagine a local radio commentator handing that out to that treatment to Liverpool. They'd burn the radio station down.

Anyone else come across this nobhead?

I can confirm he isnt on Radio Bristol mate.

We do need for Ross just to push forward with the ball a bit more. Some of our play was wonderful, but with a teenie tiny bit more directness we would have scored 12..........
Eventually I'd like to see him drop back into one of the cm positions which he's shown suits his forward play also. Not much chance of that with the system RM presently adheres to in that area of the pitch though.

Have we gone back to the 80's?

I didn't know people still listened to footie on the wireless.

Thought Rom had a 9/10 CF game today, most everything he tried came off, took his goal well, sublime pass for Kone's 3rd. loads of knock-ons, knock downs, great link-up play.

That said, Galloway is making an early case for Young Player of the Year, if not Player of the Year. Another assured showing from him.

Liking Funes Mori too, developing well.
