doing some real research and finding a credible manager who will actually come in and improve the club as a whole, esp the team. one that can work with and bring on youth teamers, with a proven track record, someone who has a certified winners mentality. someone who has faced adversity at a club previously and worked his way through it.

they are out there. it will be down to our footballing director to find them.

I see it that management appointments nowadays especially for us just seem to be a flip of a coin praying it will come up heads, sadly and true to our recent history we seem to have another tails in the making here.

Not that Silva is going anywhere (nor should he), but for the sake of argument say that he was. We'd probably go after a washed up Mourinho and once he predictably fails wonder where it all went wrong again. Look at how well Hasenhuttl is doing at Southampton. We're scared to take risks and always go for the PL proven safe bets.

We had the right idea for a while... Don't give them space and mark properly but then normal service was resumed.. A disallowed, disputed foul (probably right call), a gruesome error, a horrible refereeing call for the free kick after Son lost his boot in a 50-50 challenge and... Goodnight.

Not angry, just hacked off at another inept effort from us.
