Watford fan here. Don't usually sign up to rivals' forums but just wanted to share an observation. There's been some debate on one of our forums about whether your match preview is amusing or just crap. I was in the former category. But patting yourselves on the back for your "self deprecating" humour doesn't really work if you then ban a fan simply for coming on here &, without any malice (I saw the post), daring to suggest we might win. I don't happen to agree with his optimism about our prospects against you, but I do agree with his assertion that you lot appear to give it out in spades but can't take it.

Been thinking about this and yes playing one of the newly promoted highly motived sides out to make a stament with a good early scalp is usually not the sort of thing you want. You'd want your games against these teams then they've been humped badly a few times and lot all hope.
The only plus side I can see to it is that we know absolutely Jack about their manager, most of their squad, how they are likely to set out etc. It means we have to play our own game and pretty much ignore them in the build up, it will be pretty much an old fashioned 'go out there and enjoy yourself' game unfettered (initially at least) by weighing our players down with the specialised info they generally have to take on board about the opposition.
I'm guessing it will be surprisingly open in the first 20 mins as they give it a go and we try to work them out and then probably end up in an odd counter attacking game, us camped out with the ball failing to make too many clear chances, and them trying to break quickly when they do get it. It will be interesting to see how Watford cope without possession most of the time and how their fitness levels last.
