Can not and will not ever, for the life of me understand how any of our fans can live in a world, where in their head they genuinely don’t think our fans are a big hinderance to our team.

It’s absolute plain to see fact, and it’s widely known by neutrals at this point. Yes, games like Palace we can be a big help, but in general we must be the worst club to play in front of in the league.

We give our lovable neighbours absolute dogs abuse for being deluded happy clappers, but they act like their entire team are the best in the world in every position and get behind them accordingly. Whereas we just berate our players every week.

Bournemouth before the WC was embarrassing, utterly embarrassing. I’m 100% confident in my suspicions that a load of rich, young, athletes are getting the coach home from that game and saying our fans are a bunch of absolute nobheads, rightly or wrongly that’s 100% what happens, they’re young rich and famous and anyone that thinks they’re privately saying between them that they’re the problem is absolutely tripping.

You’ve got the likes of Darwin Nunez over the road underperforming and running his knees to the bone to try and make it work to make it up, then we sign someone like Moise Kean who within 10 appearance has completely and utterly given up at the club and couldn’t care a single minute about our fans, probably laughing his head off at every paycheck.

People point to the run in, last season as the fans dragging the team over the line and exactly that, that’s what other teams do every week all over the world, they support the players and it creates a bond where they work for the fans, generally. Whereas Everton are to my knowledge, one of the only clubs in world football that go to home games and away games week in week out and completely sabotage the mentality of their own players by abusing them.
First of all, the atmosphere was poor today and the fans cannot make excuses for it being so poor from the start and after we went 1-0 up.

That aside, I think the rest of your post is just not correct. The players don't get abused like you are making out. They put in half arsed abject performances most weeks, fail to do the basics and then we've got the likes of Onana who instead of focusing on the job in hand, and actually going and contributing to getting us a 2nd goal, would rather show off to the crowd by making "get behind us" gestures.

The mental fragility of our current squad is an utter embarrasment and it's nothing to do with the fans at the moment. I've been at Goodison where at times our fans have been out of order. For example the expectation probably was a bit misplaced after Martinez' first season and our fans became a bit entitled and started abusing the likes of Jagielka, Barkley, Stones and McCarthy when we were struggling in certain games. Those players faced far worse than this set of players and far more unfairly in my opinion.

I went for big Yerry Mina.

I rather got the impression he felt he could continue playing and if that is the case Frank dropped a major clanger in taking him off.

Because I can’t see that winner going in if the big man was still on the field.

Not any easier viewing on the highlights. A quite stunning extra value meal of utter embarrassment extra large with a side of ineptitude and a large cup of don't care to wash it down with.

It takes some doing for the qatari world cup to seem more virtuous. Well done !

Embarrasing that. Had an awful day, hails torm hit the M6, car spun intot he barriers major cosmestic damage (£) then this happens.

Absolute joke of a club really. They were happy with a point and have got all 3!!

And I've just bust my head open putting me desk onto the desk, accidentally hitting the edge. lol
Man, that's an awful day. Law of averages says 2023 is your year dude

Travelled long way to watch that rubbish why should I keep putting in more effort to watch than they do on the pitch.
not one player looked anything other than championship standard
not my normal thought but I do think this year we are done

We went 1-0 up against United. Their formation was Anthony on the left wing and Ronaldo on the right. They hugged the touchline meaning they always had an out ball. As soon as we scored Frank should have went 5 at the back, this would have allowed for both wingers to effectively be marked. Lo and behold, it’s those players who score one each and we get beat. Pickford with his usual getting beat hard and low at his feet.

Wolves game. We score. Again, this would been the perfect time to get another midfielder on. I would have brought Doucoure on straight away and told him to sit across that midfield. This would have allowed a bit more freedom for Gana and Onana and would have hopefully meant we had someone marking Moutinho from the corner. Yet again, Pickford gets beaten far too easily in my opinion.

We are lacking that mentality. Where are the players who are passionate and actually want us to do well as a club. We seem to now have absolutely none. Oh and also, if you can’t win the game, don’t get beat. A point yesterday actually would mean we are joint 15th in the league. You know Forest are getting a result at United later, it’s written in the stars.

Horrible day mate. Absolutely horrible. Managed to drive my wife her mums in Kirkby then just turned around. Could have made the second half. My dad almost died in a crash 20 years ago, he shouldn’t be here so I cannot imagine the flash blacks he is having.

I could have lived with a draw but that last minute goal was heartbreaking. Last 20 it was all us as well we just have no killer instinct at all. Nobody who can score.

Bad today all around really and Goodison was very quiet but you cant blame us fans as most are now just bored of watching us.

Cant help thinking a decent centre forward who could actually score some and be able to hold the ball up would improve us no end, but we just dont seem to be able to get one.

We also need more of our midfielders to run with the ball far more often which could move some opposition players around a bit and then open up some space and angles for us to take advantage of. Instead no one moves and consequently we are so easily marked hence the sideways/backwards passes we continually play

Grim times!
This. 1000% this. For what seems like several seasons now.

We had a draw in the bag on 93 minutes, it was pressure from the crowd that made us lump it forwards and end up losing today.
I know you're being toungue in cheek, but I thought the exact same when it happened ?

Reality is though, there was no one trying to make a move for the long ball to aim at, hence the half dozen sideways passes between the two defenders before Tarkowski thought any ball is better than no ball.

How no one can be bothered to make even a small run to provide a target in the 94th minute when you're chasing a winner is quite disgraceful
