Wow. Based on a friendly we're dumping Tim? You guys are nuts.

Howard had a generally excellent Gold Cup (minus the crapola Mexico game).
 
A good work out. Showed some promising stuff, some stuff we need to work on and the fringe/youth players played well.

I would have preferred to play DC before Philly though. More of a gradual build up

The point that I'm trying to get at is that 10 goals per season don't come easy. Say we sold Cahill tomorrow, I don't think we'd make up the shortfall. I think we'd end up drawing more games because we can't find a way through. Tim's great strength is his ability to get on the end of things. It's alright Arteta and Osman spraying passes around, but we still need someone to rough up defenders and to stick their head in where it hurts.
 

No, I am not basing it on one pre-season game. I just think he is a good keeper. Tim hasn't done anything to warrant dropping from the team, I just think it would be nice to change it up a bit. No other reason.

You know, see how good Mucha is against Premier League teams.....until then we will never know.
