You said more actually. You also said Arteta and Osman couldn't be relied on to get 5 a reason. Glad to see you admitting you were wrong.

So Ossie's record is 0-1-6-3-3-4-6-2-4. Only twice in 9 years has he achieved 5 or more league goals in a season, if you want to be perdantic.

Pontius does look good. He is still very young for an American player. Has more speed than I thought he had.

Distin in the bra was the visual of the night for me.

Final Stats:
DC United Everton
Goals 1 3
SOG 14 7
Saves 3 13
Corners 9 2
Fouls 8 7
Yellows 0 1

Defense does still need sorting out.

EDIT: Argh, I made that like a table and then it got all squished. You guys can figure it out.

Doesn't really show anything to be honest, I've noticed in the past that MLS teams seem to shoot on sight from absolutely anywhere. Possibly the standard of the keepers isn't quite so good?

No - the standard of keepers is actually quite decent. More shows the lack of build up play and creativity. The better teams don't do long ball as often.

He's scored 7 goals in three different seasons, 04-05, 07-08 and 08-09, 75% of those games have come from a wide position. Cahill plays alot higher up the pitch, basically as a second striker. It's an unfair comparison really.

Well a decent game and good to see us get a good run out.

The surprise for me was Mucha. I think that's the first time I've seen him get extended play and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't have too many worries should Howard go down due to injury.

I enjoyed watching Barkley play.

DC United wasn't much of a challenge, though.
