Mori Funes was excellent today, impressed. Galloway again was superb. Browning did very well too.

Having said that, we need Coleman and Baines back ASAP because they offer us so much more in attack.

I am one of his biggest critics but Gareth Barry was brilliant today.

Yeah. It's not a slate on the young boys but it does hold us back a bit. But on the flip probably makes us more solid the other end.

Mixed feelings really. On one hand we have three first choice defenders injured so it's tough to play our normal game and we are going to be uncertain at the back. On the other Liverpool are a bang average side at the moment and today was a great chance to stick a few past them and prove a point that currently we are the best side in the city.

In truth this whole ''Merseyside Derby'' stuff that always comes along withy the usual tags of a supposed hard fought game with plenty of fouls and not much quality seems to upset us more than them. It's been a while since we took full points from them despite being at times a better side.

Not sure if it's a mentality thing but we need to get over the Derby aspect and just got out and smash them.

Should have played about 50mins against 10 men, and about 20mins against 9.

It gets really boring talking about referees after derbies, but with performances like that (and from a guy with previous) it's very hard not to.
