I've got a feeling that a sauve qui peut will go out before the first half is over if Martinez is still at the helm and our players act like mugs again. Hope we do it but I really do not have high hopes and it almost seems like the players will down tools again to make sure Martinez is sacked before Monday morning.

Scandalous if they do that in a semi.
If players down tools then I don't care who the manager is they can get their lazy, egotistical arses out of our club
 

Game starts at 2am here and I just know I should stay in bed and give it a miss, but that "Everton" + FA CUP feeling has started to kick in!
I know we shouldn't win this but it's a funny old game and you never know.

So until the final whistle... Come On Everton lets do these!!!

Oh, and it's a long weekend here so win win

The players, whether they are English, Dutch, Belgian, Bosnian, they will all have watched the Cup Finals on the tele growing up, they know what tomorrow is, they will play for the glory.

I am hoping the players forget Martinez tomorrow and play for the chance of a medal if they get through tomorrow. I am hoping that's what they did against Chelsea and why there was a contrast in performance from our league form.
 
3 generations of blues going to wembley for the first time tomorrow, sorting stuff out made me realise that while a win would be great, its not really about that. Dreamt for years of taking the lad to wembley, he is going with uncles, cousins, dad and grandad, and so proud.

A casual united fan at work asked why am i so obsessed with us when we dont win stuff.....?

while this is anoying enough tonhe asked, i wanted to try and explain.

My answer was, i see Everton as a representation of the my family, and the city of my heritage. So if and when ppl talk down or have a pop, it feels like my family is getting ridiculed.

Its old fashioned I know, but most of my values and principles have come from football, and i take those into my every day life.

He got it then!!

I know thats deep lads sorry, ive had a few but im now looking forward to our day.
