Definitely agree with you there, I hope that we win but with the way this season has gone on I wouldn't be surprised if they just don't turn up. Either way I'm hoping the players and manager pull something off tomorrow so we get some semblance of pride after this horror show of a season.

3 generations of blues going to wembley for the first time tomorrow, sorting stuff out made me realise that while a win would be great, its not really about that. Dreamt for years of taking the lad to wembley, he is going with uncles, cousins, dad and grandad, and so proud.

A casual united fan at work asked why am i so obsessed with us when we dont win stuff.....?

while this is anoying enough tonhe asked, i wanted to try and explain.

My answer was, i see Everton as a representation of the my family, and the city of my heritage. So if and when ppl talk down or have a pop, it feels like my family is getting ridiculed.

Its old fashioned I know, but most of my values and principles have come from football, and i take those into my every day life.

He got it then!!

I know thats deep lads sorry, ive had a few but im now looking forward to our day.

As i said before this is the worst Man United side in over 20 years.There is nothing to fear from them.Our form has been terrible but if those players and manager have any sense of professional pride they'll raise their game for this.Our season rests on this.Win the FA cup and we will have turned a horrible season on it's head.At the end of the day if i was asked to choose between a derby win or the FA cup i'd happily choose the FA Cup.If the Everton we know and love click then United won't be able to live with us.That Wembley pitch is ideal for our hit them on the break gameplan.I fully expect Everton to be well up for this.NSNO CYOB let's drive on beat this lot and then bring the cup home.

Love the positive posts but just don't feel it.

I was really looking forward to the semi until the derby. Now I just can't get up for it. I don't have a ticket so I'm not going and its good cos I'd only be going out of duty.

The silver lining about the more or less inevitable United win is it will probably mean they will stick with van Gall if ( and likely when ) they win the Cup.
