Most of us will concede that it isn't a disgrace to lose tonight we did well for a while in the game. I just think we didn't give it a go going forward. We're giving Manchester City tremendous respect because they are the top team in the land but we are not giving Everton Football Club the respect we deserve. As the last guy said the mentality needs to change.

Dulwich, Atheist and Eton Dom were very good ... I gave MotM to Eton Dom.
Disappointed, but no disgrace to lose to the best football side in the history of the game.

That's the thing for me mate, I've had too many years of "Oh well..."

Far too much respect for Pep and city floating around. The only team who regularly do well against them are United and they don't pander to the inferiority complex.

They are a great team with a great manager and great players but that doesnt mean losing is ok. Its a bad night and we have to get far better and fast.

Really good performance. Looked well organised at the back, a bit toothless up front, never looked like scoring in the second half. Got punished for switching off at the back for a few seconds and the game was lost.

I've calmed down now and I'm happy with the level of commitment and performance we put in, it was always gonna be tough against that city team especially with the injuries to our own, just gutted to think what could have been with Doucoure and James fit
