We could have a 50 year anniversary celebration in 2045
But I won’t be here
I will be alive still (probably) but won’t bother with any celebrations. I imagine between now and then, we will have made the top 10 most years, and we may see a couple of decent runs in the cup ( maybe to QF stage?).
So exciting isn’t it?

Inappropriate Language
Cant fault our performance or Carlo tonight, given the tools he had to hand, the injuries have ruined us.

He set us up to [Poor language removed] citteh and try and grab a set piece - very nearly paid off.

Godfrey my motm - collossal display, he was ruining the city players so much they were resorting to diving anytime he went near them. Faultless performance.

Virginia deserves to play more games - solid and composed and didnt put a glove wrong.

If we show a 10th of that effort and commitment for the rest of the season we can still get into the top four, and Europe is certainly a possibility.

Thought the ref was a disgrace tonight, nearly as biased as the bt commentary team in favour of city.

The good work was undone when no one tracked the run of Gundogan. Wake up call to not tracking runs was when Sterling should have scored, but Joao got tips to it. Should’ve taken note and made sure no 2nd balls ended up with them in the box. Difference between being an average team, to being a bit less of an average team!
I would’ve also been happy to continue with the game plan at 1-0, showed we had more chance of scoring than when we changed the system.

I'm still pretty annoyed right now so maybe I need some time to reflect. But I genuinely thought the referee was awful and gave us literally nothing. Not too many others have said which makes me doubt myself, but I thought he was as bad as I've seen in a long time.

Oliver has his good and bad days, tonight was the latter

I thought he was atrociously biased and woefully inconsistent.

Kept giving everything to city, they played him like a fiddle - Godfrey was owning them and they were resorting to diving about and he fell for it a number of times.

Fernandinho is the biggest cheat in the league, gets away with absolute murder, but they all were tonight, anytime we had a chance to break they chucked a foul in. We only had to breathe on them and they were getting freekicks off Oli.

As for the high boot, he brings the whistle to his lips, we all stop and them he waves play on - farce.

Fernandinho is the master of giving away fouls but not getting booked. I've never understood how he gets away with so much.

Well I'm with you on this one. Thought the ref was giving them everything

Got tbh and say I was true to my posts and didn't bother watching so can't comment on Oliver or anyone else. I stayed in touch with the score and at 0-0 well into the second half was about to switch on when I saw it was BT Sport -

I detest that channel with a real hatred so decided I wouldn't bother.

It's always worse when you watch, feel far less upset when you don't. Did far better than I ever expected so it really wasn't much of a downer at all for me.

May stay away from watching them while everyone is seemingly injured or just about to be, can do without the frustration as not enjoyable.
