This isn't like some Championship team playing out of their skin and beating say a Tottenham or an Arsenal. The gap between us and city is much more vast, I genuinely think we will be lucky to have a shot on goal.

Our lack of ability, pace and creativity is only matched by our lack of effort.

Bar a few fortunate away wins, we have the look of the Villa team that went down a few years back.

I want to be optimistic but just can't manage it. Arsenal beat City in the semis last year and tbf not for the first time, but they had a motivated, fit and firing Aubameyang and a side fully on it and still playing for Arteta.

Our injuries to key men make it feel far more like the 2019 Man City vs Watford FA Cup Final build up to me, that infamous 6-0 drubbing. You saw then the stupid senseless optimism on the Watford fans faces before the game not realising reality and shame was just around the corner.

The whole world saw Watford's finest hour unfold. . SiX NIL..it's still funny

City's 2nd string is way better than most other 1st teams - so tough no matter who play's for them, so all we can do is go for it from the off as we have nothing to lose as most expect defeat anyway plus they have a 2 week break most of them - so go out trying to win, rather than go out trying not trying, even getting to pens may not be Lucky for us
