Seeing as my last post did not attract controversy J will now go step further and instead if Coleman on the right use King so that we have pace on both flanks thus negating their adventurous defenders

Richy-DCL
Siggy/James
Allan-Davies-Coleman
Digne-Godfrey-Keane-Holgate
Olsen/Virginia

4-4-2 diamond in attack, 5-2-1-2 in defense

I have the same trepidations as many about this fixture because of who we face and we haven't really played well for a while.

That being said we play in the same league as them, we can defend valiantly and have a bit of quality to punish sides we haven't had in the past.

My assumption is we'll try and play as we did against them in the League but who knows. My feeling is if you don't have a midfield who are up to the task then disregard them, hit high balls to our tall striker with a great leap and have a player either side to try and get to the knock on.

Victory isn't impossible. A memorable win would be nice - we've had a few pleasant surprises this season.

Tbf David Moyes' hammers drew at home to them when Antonio scored to put them ahead just on 20 mins. Phil Foden grabbed a draw for City in the second half but a point for Moyes' men.

At the Etihad in the return it was another close game with City grabbing the points in a 2-1 win, Antonio again on the scoresheet equalising just before half time with John Stones scoring the winner in the second half.

West Ham were competitive in both games home and away, not many will do that to City. Moyes sides rarely take the game to the opponent but showed you can be in the game with a chance by being difficult to breakdown. I think we'll try similar tactics.

DCL can be our Antonio, but grasping at straws really as I think we'll be murdered

We've got this, we're on our way to Wembley. Having a significant number of fans being allowed to attend the FA Cup Final this season will be fantastic as they watch us lift our first trophy since 1995.

I have no idea what team we will field against Man City, but we are going through. The drought ends this Season and Everton will start to write a new chapter of success in the history books of English football. Can I get an amen?

Amen. But probably not with our men.

Olsen
Keane Mina Godfrey
Coleman Allan Davies Digne
Sigurdsson
Calvert-Lewin Richarlison

Virginia Tyrer Holgate Nkounkou Gomes James Iwobi Bernard Broadhead

I expect Olsen to be fit and James may be put on the bench as an option if we are a goal down with 20 to go. Mina will come in and I expect 3 at the back.

The game is the sun, Man City is the magnifying glass and we're the ants. Feel like we're going to get roasted. Prove me wrong everton prove me wrong.
To be honest, I think we could actually win. We have a pretty decent defense and our strikers are top notch! Also, Carlo has a lot of experience in these types of matches.
