Managed to snag a ticket for tonight in the UG. First time I'll have been to Goodison since 2018, I think, for various reasons.
Gonna park in the city centre and get the train up from Liverpool Central to Kirkdale. Anybody do that regularly think that's the best way? Just coming through on my own so don't really want to be having to wait/pay for taxis like I used to when I had a ST of my own!

I always used to park at the leisure centre on Walton Hall Ave and walk in - Probably my favourite part of the whole day

Very much take the same view. I'm off tomorrow which is a rarity and the game might take the sheen off that early Friday feeling. I don't expect much from them and we get little to nothing.
I will try to avoid the game until after it's finished if I can. I've done that plenty before. Would still be deflated a little with defeat but Sunday was a line in the sand for me in some ways - I've given up expecting anything.

I used to think this. One of the goals looks easy to save, but if you look at it closely it takes a bit of a deflection to think.
Also if you watch the highlights he makes quite a few decent saves during the game. Why not just let a couple of those in? No one would’ve asked any questions and your job is done.
