Especially as he appears to be holding back Gordon's development.Echo saying we've rejected loan offers for Hornby. Little surprising, could be good for him.

I'm delighted Walsh is doing well Nymz. Hope he helps get Bristol City into the play offs. Somebody did pee me off the other day when he intimated Walsh getting subbed against City proved we made the right decision in selling him, but other than that all's good.Fail to see how it's an argument just an opinion of where we think the club sees Gordon's current development. Unless you're all riled up over comments Walsh is settling in well at Bristol City.

Anyway back to Gordon. I'm just looking for potential reasons why he hasn't been fast tracked to the U23s like other star performers from previous years. The fact is he hasn't been, notwithstanding his 4 minute cameo in the EL dead rubber. So the questions is, have the club changed their policy on this?, or is he not considered ready yet?, or are the club prioritising the development of other senior players such as Evans, Broadhead?.
Nobody has answered that yet.
???You're such a buffoon for an old man.
???
How old do you think I am FFS
Honestly thought he moved upto the U21 earlier than that. Seems to have been a fixture there for a while and he's still only 18. Was he playing for the U18s ahead of time, whilst still at school, do you think?Indeed, I was going to write something similar. Feeney spent a full year and a half in the u18s, it was really only this time last year he got U23s game time, similarly with Beni. Only Evans of late has played u21/23 as a first year Scholar . Having said that would like Gordon to get some game time at U23s this season .
P.S . Re Gordon’s physicality , he is slight but he doesn’t get knocked off the ball easily. His pace and acceleration get him out of trouble, that will be interesting to see if he can carry that up a level.

Thank you my friend. I've been losing the will to live hereIt's my biggest question as well. I understand the team dynamic, but academy football is supposed to be about development first. Gordon is clearly a shining light and seems to be acing this level. Personally I think he needs to be pushed.
Forgotten about this one as it had gone very quiet. Wonder what happened?. Maybe some bad taste left seeing as we released him a few years back. Maybe we pulled out of the running; not exactly a position we're short on is it?BREAKING NEWS
Leicester sign midfielder Callum Wright from Blackburn on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

Little bit surprised we're losing out to other teams we've these sorts of transfers (happened with Ramsdale as well IIRC).

He's a local lad isn't he?
They're actually second in PL2 which surprised me a little. Haven't checked the standings for a while. Not sure but possibly. Sure we lost a lad from Coventry to Leicester a season or two back.
