Deserves his contract going on last season and pre season, much more so than Pennington’s one. I just hope he doesn’t suffer from the usual Championship change of Manager if Wigan are not in a play off spot, but will get more game time than with us , and hopefully some more USA caps.
..he’s got terrific size about him, hopefully he really progresses this season and establishes himself at Wigan.
I understand our now obvious link with Wigan but I'd rather have seen him go to a team that's going to be fighting near the top.

..I dare say an advantage is that it’s local, so the lad doesn’t have the logistics of upheaval. Also, Everton can more easily keep an eye on his progress.
Well Paul Cook has a good recent record as manager he could do well, I think Bolton will struggle this season so best out of there.
