Everton Youth Teams Thread

I was say this lad jumps instantly ahead of hewelt who isn't that good
Agree about Hewelt, imagine we’ve said something about future first team opportunities to him to get him here , but think it’ll be Hewelt with 1st team initially. I’ll also take Virginia for Robles as a good swop for the future.
I imagine Silva followed the Portugal U19s games and was likely involved in this , hope he’s trying to get a few more they’re a talented bunch.

Domingos Quina (CM) available for £700k from West Ham and clubs circling for Joao Felix too. You'd hope Brands is looking all over to bolster the academy as we're weak in areas this year. Find out the full extent tomorrow morning anyway.

Hewelt moving up to 3rd choice training with 1st team , so I imagine it’s between Hilton and Joao Virginia for U23s spot. Can’t see Chris Renshaw being in the picture. And on the basis of not ever having seen himbut he’s a Euro U19s winner with Portugal Virginia it is.

Can’t say I know anything about the u23s. I’m just encouraged by the way this deal was done with no leaking. Hopefully a few more in & out before the window slams shut.

Joao Felix would walk the u23 league over here. It wouldn't take him long to break through.

From the reports in the loan thread last season the Bolton fans preferred Robinson as a wing back because his attacking play was better than his defending. This season will be his opportunity to prove he is the man to become back up left back or whether we need to buy one next summer.

His final ball has been very poor in pre-season and that’s being kind.
The question mark about Robinson has been his ability to be a top class defender. On the way home today at about 5 past 3 Radio5 live switched to Wigan and outlined how Robinson bombed down the wing and made a perfect cross to set up their first goal of the season. Early days of course, but few apart from yourself will be surprised at that.

Nope , nor Josh Bowler who looked promising in early games.

Everton team: Hilton, Denny, Browning, Foulds, Galloway, Evans, Markelo (Gordon 60’), Williams (Adeniran 45’), Broadhead, Sambou (Lavery 75’), Hornby (Charsley
Lot of experience in that team.

Can only assume Feeney and Gibson are both still injured or at best, not yet match fit.
