On the subject of academy goalkeepers, we've signed (youth contract) another one this summer, the lad on the far left of the picture above Ben Pierce was part of Man United's under 16 squad last year, he's played for England at under 15 level, he's certainly got the frame for a modern day keeper, he's Huge compared to all the other lads, someone mentioned that Anthony Evans on the other end of the group on the left is 6 ft.
He's huge! Not much comment one way or the other about him on Redcafe but as part of the the u16s that isn't so surprising.
