Is there any optimism anyone can give to a 64 year old that we might ever win anything in my lifetime?

As an observation I made it’s accurate, but in reality neither of the full backs will make it with us, Anderson will likely leave in July , John is here until 2023 , so maybe a loan soon , but he’s not the answer to our right back problem.
Cheer up, imagine if you were a 27 year old asking that question, at least we’ve seen winning teams!

But maybe..just maybe..a 27 year old might just might see us win something...whereas you and me....

whereas you and me ?……I’ve seen the Golden Vision, I’ve watched us on Tv coming back from 2-0 down to win a cup final, I was there to see the Holy Trinity demolish Chelsea 5-1 at Goodison , even Kendall scored, and virtually clinch the league, I was ….. Well you can add to the rest . Can’t take away those memories mate , youngsters don’t have them .

Of course we have those memories and I was also at all those games(ps Chelsea was 5-2 they scored 2 late goals...one of the best performances ever and I was at Wembley in 66 crying my eyes out after only 4 mins but my Dadsaid don't worry son there are another 86mins to go) and thankfully due to my senility I can remember those old days but not what I had for tea last night)
But is it only memories we have? Will we ever seen another trophy being lifted..?
 
Everton u23s are back in Premier League cup action tomorrow night away at Sheff utd, and Sheff Utd has just said they are showing the game LIVE on their YouTube channel, Kick off is 7pm
