Looks like another one of our players to drop down the leagues only to work his way back up. Did we sell him or have any clauses?

Erm, we sold him to Blackpool who were a Championship club.
Hes hardly worked his way back up, yet.
His contract was up. So no fee, no sell on clause as he was a free agent. A talented U23s player when he wasn’t injured, certainly a Championship player , never pushed for a first team place with us. Good luck to him.Did we get any sell on clauses?

From his age, 15/16 I assumed that Jack Patterson will be joining us as a Scholar in July. We don’t often announce any 16 years and under signing officially, more likely it will be the Northern Ireland press who say something.Any news on that NI kid Patterson? Still not been made official
Joe Edwards and Anthony Barry would be great additions . I get the impression though that with their ability and Lampard‘s needs they would be more senior and involved in first team affairs. Throw in , supposedly, Tim Cahill and really though we could have people in place who could make an impact on our Academy . P.us a couple of young coaches like Baines and Baxter to make peoples head wobble and who knows we just might have the evolution of a long term structure.Hope Joe Edwards joins, if anyone knows what an academy set up should look like it is him.

….our @TangerineToffee has been very complimentary about Bowler this season.
We offered him terms after his contract ran out at the Toffees. So no clauses in that scenario as far as I am aware. His contract with Pool is up in the summer and we have an option for another year @Tin-Tin
Critchley is working to keep him beyond 11pm tomorrow and maybe he will be offered an updated longer and better deal. Forest. Bournemouth and Fulham are all sniffing round now. Fulham saw right up close yesterday what dynamite Joshy has to offer. Hopefully the Cockney moneybags will stay shut. Got to keep him. He's a wonderful talent.
Here he is yesterday after scoring his first goal since doing Fulham earlier in the season at BR. That's 4 ponts off the runaway leaders and Silva unbeatables. Looks happy in Tangerine eh
At the end of the day it's all about the money I suppose. The club, the player and the leeching agents. Though I believe Josh is happy with his progression under Neil Critchley and the other young bucks playing alongside him. All of whom are currently making steady progress under the Critch's tutelage.Cheers mate, just asked as I thought he may be playing in PL next season and seen people liken him to Bowen but ive not seen anything if him since he left.
I know he was very highly rated when we bought him and we paid decent money at the time.
Hope he wtays with you but looks like Carvalho is off to our neighbours so they may have the money for him

It's in the lap of the gods I guess but hopefully the young and skillful lad will be at training at Squires Gate on Tuesday morning.
