Doug Lukjanciks was in goal for the England u16 yesterday in their 2-1 win over Italy in Italy, there were no other Everton players involved. There’s a second game Thursday , but they usually give the guys who didn’t start the first game a run so he’s unlikely to play.

Given the lack of numbers and the failure to register Maupay it would maybe make good sense to take him down to London before he goes on loan. He does give them an option up front but even if not just a taste of being around the Everton firsts might do him some good before he heads out, show him what he’s got to work towards.
