duffus got a really bad injury, think hes been out for close to a year now, when he was impressing martinez apparently. have to see how he comes back from that. cant see the other 2 being at everton a lot longer.

Gethin Jones is Wales U21 captain and still only 19. I'm not really sure how highly he's rated at Everton though, but I imagine he'll go on loan again in the second half of the season.

@england: England U17s starting XI v Chile: Whiteman, Yates, Williams, Collinge, DaSilva, Davies, Kane, Ugbo, Patching, Edwards, Mavididi

....I understand the U17 World Cup is actually in Chile. Neil Dewsnip is the manager, he's the chap who was a teacher at Cardinal Heenan. I went to watch the school team he coached and they were outstanding. He was really innovative and it wasn't a surprise when he was snapped up by Everton. He then moved to England where he managed a team that included Brendan Galloway.

I read that he built that team around Galloway and I strongly suspect he told RM to sign him.

I've just seen this photo of an Everton Youth side who entered the Foyle cup in Ireland. However, when I looked up the results they seemed to come under the name EvertonAmerica. Now I'm probably being amazingly dim but, why ?

A good win that but hard to judge with Boro going down to 10 so early. Boro won the u18s league table ahead of us last year if I remember rightly before losing in the knockout stages.

Our academy teams from u15s down play the rs today. It'll be a massacre to us in the u10s age group.

It's Everton America, who are apparently a partner of Everton. They were at that tournament

We did at u10, 8-2 which is a bit of a disappointment as last year was 13-1 but never mind. They didn't play the return game as they called it off (bottled it).

I know an older Everyon team (maybe the u12s) won 1 nil however I have no idea how any of the other age groups got on.

Anyone know when any of our teams will play at Man City's smaller ground right next to the Etihad? That ground looks boss and j wouldn't mind ticking it off when our U21s/youth team are there
