Everton Youth Teams Thread

Apparently Dyche is watching, nothing to see here from the senior players that suggests they should be on the bench, although Crellin not too bad, 3 goalkeepers on the bench tomorrow then.

Kouyate should have probably scored with his head at the end , but even allowing for 5 teenagers and a League 1 side that was very poor.

Yep, not one of them has staked a claim for even a spot on the bench tomorrow.

There was the odd promising run from Roman Dixon .

…I like that he’s watching a few of these games, it’s a bit ‘old school’ but it shows genuine interest from somebody not supposed to be interested in youngsters. The truth is, he’d be chuffed if there was a player he could use.

People can say what they like about Dyche and “ no pathway to the first team “ etc, the stark truth is they’re just not good enough to be playing in the PL .

Not really any non-loan youngsters remotely close, are there? Really don't see the hype about Onyango.

Trying to keep interested but Griffiths repeating the same rubbish as usual ('chairman is listening', 'great experience for the lads', 'great cross just too close to the keeper').

Nothing at all mate. There's little dashes here and there from the likes of Kouyate or Okonronkwo but they'd be eaten alive in the PL or playing L1 football week in week out.

Dixon is only young so hopefully he develops. Rest of the back line is bang average and the midfield is just non existent. None of them have a future with Everton I'm sure.

Still waiting for Charlie Whitaker to come back from injury.
