Up to him now isn't it to work hard? It would help our young players also for Everton to get some world class players this Summer.....yep, got size and scope as well. Looks a class act and a real prospect to me.
Verylolhow bad is that keeper on the first goal lol
I said a number of times that the rotation of coaches want working, but I think it's unfair to call it a "key reform" of Martinez. I don't think it was a deliberate policy but one he had turned to when Kevin Sheedy was out so long having his knees done. I may be wrong but I think he just made a poor decision on how to fill the gap , rather than give it to one man he chose to rotate. When Sheedy returned , the rotation stopped and he lead the u18s through The Dallas tournament and until the end of the season .http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...evealed-how-everton-shelved-roberto-116262707
Revealed: How Everton have shelved this Roberto Martinez policy
Everton academy returning to more conventional coaching system after Martinez's trial
Everton have scrapped one of Roberto Martinez's key reforms at their world-renowned academy.
The former Blues boss raised eyebrows with his decision to rotate coaches throughout the age groups at Finch Farm , meaning staff spent less time with each team but supposedly gained experience at different levels.
It meant u-18s Premier League winning coaches like club legend Kevin Sheedy could be working with the youngsters on the brink of first team recognition one month, before finding himself tasked with preparing the u-13s the next.
Although meant to improve the overall quality of the club's coaching system it was a largely unpopular scheme.
Everton's coaches made it work the best they could but were believed to have privately questioned the wisdom of the idea.

Martinez must be credited with taking a keen interest in the Blues academy and helping develop the careers of a number of its highly-rated starlets; such as Tom Davies, Kieran Dowell and to an extent Brendan Galloway.
His vision for improvements to Finch Farm facilities in order to further boost the academyis still in the pipeline.
And along with chief executive Robert Elstone he was also key in hiring respected US Olympic performance guru Peter Vint as the academy's new head last December.

But his rotational coaching system was a far less popular reform and has been quietly shelved in time for the forthcoming season.
Everton currently have some of the brightest young coaches in the game working at Finch Farm, including Sheedy, and other former players such as David Unsworth , John Ebbrell ,John Doolan and Francis Jeffers .
Martinez's work with the academy was one of his biggest contributions on Merseyside, and since being sacked in May he has eyed up a swift return to management.
In June he was pictured in a Brussels hotel meeting Anderlecht officials but they later went on to appoint René Weiler as their new manager.
Most recently Martinez was a Euro 2016 studio analyst for US-sports network ESPN.
I'm not sure JD1 ever worked for us , though I know he's a Blue. I thought it was Wigan he coached initially with , and his connection with Stubbs was from years back in Liverpool .Confusingly there appear to be two people in football, roughly the same age, with the same name, both of whom have worked at the academy. John Doolan #1 worked for us before becoming Alan Stubb's assistant at Hibs and now Rotherham. John Doolan #2 is currently one of our youth coaches.

Yeah it was something that got me thinking and re read that article again , an odd system to try, definitely better under Sheedy at the end of season.im pretty sure it was a deliberate policy of martinezs. can definitely remember reading somewhere it was something that happens in holland or somewhere like that and he wanted to try it here.
