It would mean essentially paying a fair whack of money (looking at 8-10 million?) For essentially a no.2 goalie.
I know it would be a signing for the future but in that position you can eaasily stagnate
I don't think he'd cost that as the young players at City are all ready to throw there toys out the pram and leave, meaning compensation wouldn't be that high, as they don't see a realistic path to the first team, but I don't think he's a number 2 either.
He's ready to be number 1 now and as I say, I think he's got half a chance of been City's number 1 by this time next year. I expect he will only leave City now for a guaranteed crack at first team football cause I think he's close to it there.
I expect Angus Gunn to become a well known name very soon.
