No longer one of ours but...
Who are the ones most likely to step up do you think?. Walsh Pennington and Dowell are the names I notice most.
Who are the best and what positions do they play? Think I'm going to start taking more of an interest.
Dowell and Pennington probably. But Walsh may end up being the best.

when i watched the the other week against althletic bilbao thought tyias browning looked class ! he's bulked up even more than he was whilst hes been injured ! would like to see him go on loan ! hes got pace to burn ! just his height may be the issue ! but strength wise he looked huge ! calfs bigger than my waist ( nearly haha )
Dowell and Pennington probably. But Walsh may end up being the best.
one position we dont really seem to be linked with in transfer rumours is fullback, hopefully a good sign for kenny and connolly that walsh and koeman think they might be good enough.
we'll probably go and sign a new left back next week now!lol
City brought in kids from overseas even at a very young age. A few years back I chatted at one of the u16s matches to a French lady who had brought her whole family from France at Mcfc expense and they paid her a salary to look after her son (30k a year at that time I seem to recall). They did this for several of their lads. You simply can't compete with such international recruitment at all age levels. However we do seem able to get a good number of individuals to a decent standard even if not quite PL level. We also tend to promote our most talented lads up the age ranges to stretch them. E.g. Barkley, Davies etc. Glad we dont do it the city way tbh... Without going into to much detail catch whatever Everton are doing so right in the older age groups, that is not translated into the age group I've witnessed

DF you are right in what you say about overseas players being brought over from abroad, can't comment on the money aspect of it, though I have heard whispers . What I was talking about was the standard of the coaching of the very young players it doesn't come close to the other academics I've attended, imho of cause.City brought in kids from overseas even at a very young age.
