The "Super Group" we compete in is U19s mate, but it a bit demoralising for him seeing as he was one of our stars last year. I thought he'd gone out on loan to Southport though?how is brewster still eligible?!
hes 20 in about 6 months

He did, thought he'd do well there as, apparently, he is a local lad but, like some other loans, he had a good start and then dropped out of the line-up. Eventually he was recalled/sent home. The "Super Group" we compete in is U19s mate, but it a bit demoralising for him seeing as he was one of our stars last year. Just read an interesting piece on Anthony Evans where Paul Tait, Assistant u18 coach, says he's now " 6ft 2in maybe 6ft 3 and at 6ft 3 we've been working on him nodding in balls at the back post" . Evans was always tall and gangly for his age , seems he's grown a bit more. He burst onto the scene pre season 20 months ago scoring 3or4 goals for the U23s as a 16 year old but has seemed to mark time this season. It will be interesting to see how his current loan spell at Morecambe works out .
Frasier hornby, who scored loads of goals for the under 18's pre Christmas. Seems to have gone missing since, injury? His progress seemed to halt a bit between the ages of 16-18 and never kicked on from what was an amazing start in the reserves. If he has continued to grow though it probably helps to explain it, growing pains/body changing etc.
If he's 6 ft 3 now we have a potentially really strong player on our hands.

But on the various clips I saw for the 18's he looked another really big player.
Always rated Evans from first seeing him at 16, hope he can kick on, looks another talented lad.

That's the first thing that came into my mind when I saw Blueloons comments about his growth spurt. let's hope that's the reasons behind his apparent slowdown in development this season. His progress seemed to halt a bit between the ages of 16-18 and never kicked on from what was an amazing start in the reserves. The thing that has impressed me most about Evans when I have seen him are the intelligent runs he makes from midfield. That's instinct and can't be taught. Reminds me a bit of McDermott in his prime for the filth.
