Apologies for this being slightly off-thread. In football season 1950/51, our local church got a football team together to play in a Liverpool under 18 league. I was 15 and played centre forward. Another team in the league was Everton Colts and we played them at Bellfield. (First time I had ever had a bath after a football match!) We lost 13- 0 and after the game the Everton coach came into our dressing room and congratulated us. He said it was the first time that season that they had scored less than 20 goals!

I’ve seen a few chinese youth team before but these have definitely gotten better since the country decided to change things around. Impressive so far.
