I can't help but think they're not going ot get any punishment as they've backed out of it. I can only think they have legally signed documents that would allow FIFA/UEFA/The FA/Premier League legal grounds to punish.

If not, you can't punish them for saying they'll do something and then not. I assume with the statements of 'our legal team is working on x y and z' that suggests they have signed something.

Throw the book at them if at all possible. Leicester champions this season.

Used to be Crystal Palace chairmen, not a very popular one, now he is a TS gobsh1te @Alan Whittle care to elaborate lol

Love to know @Alan Whittle Whittle 's toughts on Steve Parish, the guy who was on Sky yesterday. My impression of him was a really positive one. Didnt come out slating them left right and centre but did ask questions, reiterated that football was for all and genuienly comes across that he's a Palace fan living his dream of being at the club.
Whether that translates to Palace fans, I don't know, obviously i wouldn't know how its run, how their communication is etc.

Talksport pundit, businessman & ex-Palace owner
He was owner of Crystal Pal.when Tim Cahill was being transferred from Millwall, he told Cahill‘s agent to do one with his demands for his transfer and wouldn’t pay the fees involved, that’s how Everton got Cahill, we paid the agents fees, so basically Jordan disliked agents as much as most of us do.

If we were invited and declined the invitation to the superleague then the "classy Everton" shouts make sense. We weren't invited. Our pontificating may be seen as coming from a place of bitterness rather than righteousness.
I've heard those shouts before that evertonians would act exactly like liverpool fans

Seem to remember in 2019, The Big Picture scam again from the same clubs, we were invited and declined it, short memory mate ?

Everton have fans that are recognised as part of the club, it's quite obvious now these six greedy clubs don't recognize their fans as part of the club but purely as customers just to make their pockets bulge more with with fans cash. Let's be drastic and relegate them all, let them go and play against the club's that they wish to destroy.

I’m not sure any punishment will be handed out.
I’m thinking they may get a better deal on CL revenues and places, PL revenues and TV rights.
Which I think was their aim all along.

Definitely. I think relegation to the championship isn't severe enough, as they would all keep most of their players for a year, walk the league and come back just as strong. Most relegated teams come straight back up so there's no question any of these would.

League 2 though, potentially 4 or 5 years before PL or European qualifications? Players would walk. That's a long time.

But it would also be a huge positive as you say, and the league would benefit positively from those 4 or 5 years.

If the FA, PL, UEFA, FIFA had any balls, and if they really wanted to make an example of what essentially boils down to cheating, then this would be a fine example to set. They did it to Rangers and Juvetus in the past, I don't see why they can't do it again.

Besides, imagine the competition of those 6 trying to get out of League 2 at the 1st time of asking, knowing the play offs could see them promoted or left behind, without a selection of their expensive stars?
How long did it take Rangers to come back when they got demoted to the very bottom of Scottish football for whatever it is they did (I forget what it was)

Where's your evidence? Everton came out against the Big Picture in 2019. The statement today was brilliant. Moshiri backed it up saying we would not be swayed by money to wreck the football pyramid. He insisted there must be sanctions. You seem very cynical, but some people can be principled, you know, and I genuinely believe our board is 100% opposed to this franchise club.
I believe they are in our current position and I am certain that their wealth was gained by principled, angelic means.
