I think thier fan base will think they have won, and clubs are being praised for a turn around.

Reality is, this was a bargaining tool for more cash which hasnt worked.

People are talking about financial or points deduction but I'm not sure if exploring or even signing up to another business plan can be penalised. Its wrong morally but football is a business and which other businesses wouldn't follow the path the 'big six' have?
The next TV contracts should force the clubs into a contract which does not allow them to create something else without mega penalties. Only cash means anything to them.

And the argument that it wasn't the clubs, the players, or the fans, but the owners cuts no ice.
Mate was out on the ale today with a few rs supporters and they towed the line that to ban the clubs would only punish the fans and the people who work for the club. When I pointed out that many a fan base have suffered from the action of the club ,they would not except that. When I pointed out heysel, or the punishments handed to Bury, Bolton Sheffield Wednesday they just said that was different and not the same, they won’t except they have done anything wrong.

His fault for having RS mates.

Grand Liverpool would never commit a crime.

They effectively all withdrew from UEFA competitions, so it isn’t a case of banning them, it’s a case of letting them back in. Which they should - just not next year.

If we were invited and declined the invitation to the superleague then the "classy Everton" shouts make sense. We weren't invited. Our pontificating may be seen as coming from a place of bitterness rather than righteousness.
So let’s say nothing then as we are only little Everton !!
No. Let's do our talking on the pitch. Something we haven't done in awhile.

Many privileged and elitists' who seek to protect their positions will always look for the lowest common denominator to justify their amoral attitudes, bitterness and such like will be at the forefront of their minds. Its entirely reasonable not to be invited and have principle thought against. We cant allow ourselves to be judged by those who hold greed in high esteem.
Two noticeable entities for me against the super league in the 14 was Everton and Steve Parish.
Don't disagree with anything you said there mate. Best is do our talking on the pitch, become more successful and lead the discussion from that position. Well at least your boy Boris is fighting it. Not sure how true but the EU are apparently huge fans of the superleague.
